Modular Subtractive Synthesis Visualization | Audiovisual Experiment with Max/MSP/Jitter

This is an audiovisual generative experiment made with Max/MSP/Jitter in collaboration with my good friend Vasco Santos (visuals). The audio is generated using a modular subtractive synthesis approach (and a feedback network) that is divided into frequency bands that are used to manipulate the visual terrain and sky parameters.

These visualizations are based on a Patch made by the incredible @amazingmaxstuff, with some stuff added.

Conceptually it is a trip to a distant planet where feedback is a dominant element of the bleak atmosphere.
