From Theatro Circo website:

“The program Música norte-americana do nosso tempo, was part of Theatro Circo’s Contraponto, a cycle dedicated to 20th and 21st century composition, where we invite local, national and international ensembles and composers to guide us through the music of one of the most fertile periods in terms of new ideas and forms.

Música norte-americana do nosso tempo offers a retrospective of American minimalism with unique instrumentation, performed by the Orquestra Sem Fronteiras to support young talent in Portugal’s interior, as part of the Contraponto cycle dedicated to 20th and 21st-century composition.
